The premises has been vacuumed. The plates have been washed. The glasses have been rinsed and polished. The picture frames are hanging straight. The chairs have been refurbished. And the tables have been cleaned.
The WiFi is free. The drinks are in cold storage. The pots and pans are on the stove. Our grill is hot. And the coffee machine is humming peacefully.
The terrace boat has been moored. Parasols are in stand-by. The side walk has been swiped. The staff is adorned in their uniforms. The notepads ready in their aprons.
The board games are set. The reading material nicely stacked. The flower and plants are watered.
Everything states that we are open! And still… there’s this nagging feeling we forgot something.
